Fluvac Innovator® Equine Influenza Virus

Fort Dodge Animal Health's Fluvac Innovator line of equine vaccines contains the Kentucky '97 isolate of influenza for up-to-date protection against current influenza strains and various viral pathogens. Research shows regular vaccination with updated vaccines is the best way to protect horses against modern flu strains. Not all equine influenza vaccines offer the same degree of protection against newer virus strains as that available with Fluvac Innovator.

TETANUS ANTITOXIN
|
|
For use as an aid in the prevention and treatment of tetanus in animals.
Administration of Tetanus Antitoxin is recommended for use whenever a non-immunized animal, or one whose immune status is unknown, suffers a deep penetrating wound that has or may become contaminated with soil. It provides quick but short-term protection. Antitoxin may also be administered to animals following castration, docking, and other operations performed on premises upon which tetanus infection has been a problem.
Vaccination with tetanus toxoid is recommended for healthy domestic animals not infected with tetanus, to establish an active immunity for prevention against disease. Consult with a veterinarian for specific vaccination recommendations.

STREPGUARD® with HAVLOGEN® Streptococcus Equi Bacterial Extract

An adjuvanted, concentrated, enzyme extract of Streptococcus equii. Recommended for use in healthy horses as an aid in the prevention of strangles disease due to Streptococcus equii infection. Inject 1 mL intramuscularly using aseptic techniques. Repeat in 3-4 weeks. A 1 mL dose should be administered annually or prior to expected exposure.

PRODIGY® with HAVLOGEN® Equine Rhinopneumonitis Vaccine
|
|
An inactivated, purified, concentrated, adjuvanted, tissue culture origin, Equine Herpesvirus EHV-1 vaccine. For vaccination of healthy horses 6 months of age or older, as an aid in the prevention of abortion and respiratory disease associated with Equine Herpesvirus 1 infection. For pregnant mares administer a 2 mL dose intramuscularly during the 5th, 7th and 9th months of pregnancy. Three doses are essential for primary immunization. Maiden and barren mares housed or pastured with pregnant mares should be vaccinated on the same schedule. For primary immunization against respiratory disease administer three 2 mL doses intramuscularly at 4 to 6 week intervals. A 2 mL dose should be administered annually and at any time epidemic conditions exist or are reported and exposure is imminent.
